Hugh Bonneville is a good actor but he is totally miscast for playing the role of Lord Mountbatten; a cold distant aristocrat who always liked to be in control. I would have picked an actor like Jason Clarke for the role like in ‘The Aftermath’.

Valerie Pachner gives a good performance as Lola a very driven work obsessed executive management consultant. Lola has a family history which she keeps to herself. She is an orphan who as a child lived with her older sister is admitted to a psychiatric hospital after a call for help attempted suicide attempt. A paranoid schizophrenic who in the opening scene For whom Lola as the only living relative is her legal guardian.
Well this is a story of what I would call a seriously fucked up extended family. This Danish film is an excellent portrayal of what lengths people can go to deny that which they know to be the truth when confronted with it. This film deservedly won a special prize at the Cannes Film Festival. The acting is good with an excellent cast and their interesting range of characterisations.
