    It seems with come full circle. From Tarantino plundering and repackaging Asian martial arts, to Asian directors doing the same and sprinkling it with Tarantino stylistic choices.

    City of Violence starts off reasonably well with a slow build-up punctuated with some proper old school fight sequences before a second half that falls a bit flat with its Tarantino-on-a-budget approach.
