Alistair Ryder’s review published on Letterboxd:
I try to avoid reviewing comedies, as it is impossible to explain why a joke is funny without ruining it on some level. So I'll just say this is hysterically funny, with every single scene containing at least one line of dialogue that will remain forever quotable. Really confused why this was a flop, as it walks the dumb/clever line perfectly; it is so dense with surreal one liners that I can't wait to watch it again and bump my rating up higher.
The soundtrack is also the year's best. Take that, Stranger Things!
