Night Flight (June 5, 1981—December 31, 1988) occupied the slot on USA that UAN took over. It was the first national weekly show to showcase music videos (just beating MTV to the air), as well as trailers, film clips, stand up, feature films, documentaries, concert films, shorts, vintage instructional films, experimental films and pop culture obscurities. Occasionally someone would make an appearance on it, although it was not a 'hosted' show. The show was four hours in length and would repeat, comprising 1/3 of USA programming over the weekend.

Many of the things on this list I saw for the first time because of Night Flight. It remains to this day a unique show, and one of my favorites.
There was an attempted revival, but this list focusses on the first run that ended with UAN.
