a movie full of easter eggs of itself, channeling m. night in the best of ways. demands physically informed performances from every single person, a real treat that way. lupita is phenomenal, a performance that will go down as one of the greats. treads some water in that middle. the finale is such a beguiling fusion, my favorite stuff here. doppelganger movies are one of my niche subgenres, so i was queued up to like it but also it's just really damn good. really stand-out score too
