Charlie Kaplowitz’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was entranced by the opening of this movie and was hoping that the rest of the movie would deliver on the promise of this sequence. I found, however, that it was a bit all over the place. Every set seemed like it was giving you the greatest hits of different design aesthetics.
That said, I thought the casting and acting were pretty great. Carey Mulligan and her outfits all killed. Wonderful music choices.
I certainly can't speak to the crux of this movie and I won't even try.
