after bella wakes up as a vampire and proceeds to hug edward so hard that she hurts him, catches a mountain lion on her first hunt, and almost beats jacob to a pulp all while edward stares at her like 🥺🥰🥵.... i would like to think during all of that, that edward was imagining bella pegging him ❤️

the entire opening scene to this movie had NO BUSINESS being so well shot and cinematically breathtaking!!!!!! like the insane zoom ins and the soundtrack pairing and the camera quality are all so incredible!!! i watched this in 4K HD!!!! and my brain could hardly handle it all.

absolutely no other theatrical viewing compares to seeing this opening weekend in a packed theater and experiencing the moment where the ENTIRE theater collectively lost their absolute shit over that battle scene (ifykyk). like, that was wholeheartedly, seriously a life changing experience for 16 year old me. i genuinely think about it semi-regularly to this day. the battle sequence is better than every single marvel movie combined.

during this rewatch, it started pouring rain just as the battle scene started and if that isn’t God giving me approval for watching all of these in a day, idk what is!!!

also!!! there are!!! TOO!!! many!!! subplots and side characters in this!!! my brain always feels very overstimulated by basically the entire middle of this!! i care about everyone too much and almost everyone is way too hot!!! my apologies but the russian vampires are not included in that sentiment. 

the end credits playing a thousand years while we get an entire franchise long montage of bella and edward’s romance AND a visual credit given to every single character is the most epic conclusion to a franchise ever and i wish every other ya franchise had used this method as well.

i must now officially conclude my twilight saga marathon. i’m so sad that it is already over. i wish there were MORE twilight movies!!! to end things, here is my ranking of ALL of the twilight movies from least favorite to most favorite!!!! but please know that they are all my favorites in some capacity.
