The funniest movie of 2016 and another film that was unjustly ignored in the theaters. I’ve even mentioned this movie to people who say they love Andy Samberg and/or The Lonely Island and a lot of the time they didn’t even know this existed. I don’t even understand how it’s possible.

This is an underappreciated gem. A mockumentary about a fictional musician with genuinely hilarious songs used throughout. It’s a great satire that also has some excellent dick jokes. Underneath…

The stupidest movie ever made is also somehow the greatest. Clive Owen is a cultural treasure and we’ve disrespected him by letting his career turn to ass. Shame on us. Shoot ‘Em Up should’ve been the biggest movie of the year. Then we as a society should’ve decided that no one except Clive Owen gets to be in movies anymore. Man, people really are losing their minds over a movie that is AGRESSIVELY OKAY. Probably the okayest movie I’ve seen all year. Joaquin is good because Joaquin is always good but by the end I practically felt embarassed for him thinking, you pulled out all the major Joaquin talent.....for THAT? Just because you don’t have a personality doesn’t mean you have to relate to this movie. It’s okay. It’s fine.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

It had absolutely everything I loved about the TV show. It was dark, miserable, depressing but also very hilarious. Don’t think of it as a cynical cash grab. It stays true to the legacy of the show. Its tense, it has an amazing performance from Aaron Paul and it continues the tradition of being a modern western. Definitely worth your time.
