The Big Lebowski 1998
As the dude did, I was most of my (early) college years high, so I had no good recollection of watching this movie but knew I enjoyed it. I even paid like $15 to be an Ordained Minister of the Church of Dudeism (could be a scam but I got a card). Got the chance today to watch it at the cinema today in Bíó Paradís Reykjavík and, now I can say, it's really good. Damn. It's not just a fun chaos; the narrative, the dialogue and the subtext with its social and politique critiques though a philosophy lens it's really really good.

Yes, yes, the book would always be hard to make justice in a movie adaptation but one thing they should copy is on being a work of art that knows what it is and what it wants to portray. The movie fails completly in this regard.
