    I don't know man, this felt like a moodboard of footage David Lowery cut together to get a medieval-themed whiskey commercial or something.

    I do love the way that the filmmaker plays with time in all his movies; there are some breathtaking long shots and editing sequences that totally manipulate the story's timeline and sense of reality in a way that's really moving. "A Ghost Story" still remains my absolute favourite.

    Could write an entire thesis statement on the way this film was shot. Such a beautiful fantastical use of extreme closeups, out of focus framing to create keen empathy. The opening credits alone show that Jonathan Demme has a depth of humanity and keen interest in other people that very few directors have. I loved it.
