    The Absurdity of Suicide

But in the end, one needs more courage to live than to kill himself" - Albert Camus

    Raging Bull

Flashing cameras and scribbling journalists flank all sides of the ring. Cigarette smoke swirl under the floodlights. The words of an overenthusiastic commentator, echo around the arena.
The crowds cheer and boo and shout, creating an impenetrable wall of sound

    I'm Thinking of Ending Things

i thought 'ending things' was a gaudy way of saying suicide. but, to my surprise, it meant more. much more.

there's a certain weight to it's meaning, a universality that connects the most mundane with the most extreme. it slips so easily from the tongue but a realisation suffuses the more it remains in your mind.

    'ending things'

i've thought about ending things. so have you.

    ending relationships
    ending loneliness
    ending pain
    ending the past
    ending connections
    ending yourself.
