jordan’s review published on Letterboxd:
all of the Louisiana scenes in this are ridiculously good, as are the Come As You Are and Just a Girl needle-drops. sure, they might be on the nose in terms of the film’s themes, but they’re so well-placed that it’s hard for me to not love both of their uses. i also think this is my favorite origin story film in the MCU for a single character (sorry Iron Man)!
we watched this on my TV in HDR and 90% of the interior scenes and every exterior scene taking place at night was so fucking dark that we were practically squinting at the TV to see the film. never had this experience with any other film on this TV so i think it’s safe to say that this film is just lit in the most awful way possible
