    Shown by Dad who I believed has based a lot of his life on this film. I thought some elements were funny, some bits were cool (Louie louieee + tosssssin & turnnnnnin) & it often crops up in references. However it is just very dated & so parodied by this point that it takes you well out of the film. Also gets boringly macho at points for me.

    one of the best audiovisual experiences i’ve had in my life, let alone film. got to be the best kubrick i’ve seen.
