Christian Childress’s review published on Letterboxd:
All it took was a few glances between Carol and Therese. Immediately I was hooked on this film. The execution of this love story is flawless. Every touch, every small moment, every bit of dialogue, it all was perfect. I haven't been this touched or emotionally invested in a love story in a long time. Haynes and crew built something that feels so authentic. Every detail is thought out and every performance fits. Blanchett and Mara provide career best work as our two leads and their chemistry won't be matched this year.
This film is the perfect Christmas gift, flung out of space.
