Cody Warner’s review published on Letterboxd:
This movie is a modern masterpiece, a beautifully shot film that takes place in a time where America was changing. So was the youth. This film works so well because of its setting it takes place before social media, before selfies. The movie is paced wonderfully and has characters that are written perfectly for their setting. Greta Gerwig has created a beautiful tapestry with her amazing cast. The breakouts being Ronan and Mercalfe. This movie is a great coming of age story, a great time capsule, and a great movie about family.
