Jackie ★★★★

an incredible kaleidoscope of the american system and legacy, and how it’s own systemic failings lead to destruction. a great film to truly analyze what the Kennedy’s and JFK’s legacy and death meant to america, and how we tried to place all of the blame on everyone else. maybe natalie portman’s finest performance, and certainly Larraín’s best outing. beautifully shot, deftly told, and one hundred percent american. happy fourth
