Connor Foster’s review published on Letterboxd:
Hobbs and Shaw operates most effectively as a window into the gears of the modern blockbuster. And let me tell you, these gears are rusty. They’re corroding and colliding. Theres oil leaking onto the ground, lying in wait for a rogue spark. It’s telling that Christopher Nolan has the foresight to market his new movie in front of this one with a title card that reads “It’s time for a new protagonist”. Who knows if Tenet will be that movie, but one thing is certain; Hobbs and Shaw is a sign of how stale things have gotten.
