Connor Foster’s review published on Letterboxd:
Believe it or not The Lighthouse is even less accecible than The Witch. Most of the exposition is buried deep inside some rambling, allegorical monologue burped forth by a drunk seamen. It’s wonderful. The cinematography is striking and claustrophobic, and pairs perfectly with the haywire performances of the two leading men. If you enjoy cinema that streches its audience, The Lighthouse will be a winner for you.
