Connor Foster’s review published on Letterboxd:
Wild Rose is a story you’ve seen before, but it has more authenticity and soul than a thousand remakes of A Star is Born. Not to mention a real life star is born in Jessie Buckley. She is the antidote to all of those conceited watch-me-sing performances, and she genuinely deserves some awards recognition for her work here. The script is humble in its ambitions with the occasional, quietly profound moment, and the closing song “Glasgow” is a certified BANGER.
