after watching this, i was like "there's something about daniel day-lewis' performance in this movie that made me immensely sad the entire time." then i read an interview where DDL said that he and PTA were 'overwhelmed by a sense of sadness' and that the sadness came to stay during the telling of the story and he didn't know why...so now i'm just Really Fucking Sad dammit
