I have spent too long in my mind trying to sum up my thoughts of THE LIGHTHOUSE. I know it stayed on my mind throughout the night and haunted me in my slumber. I know I witnessed one of the best double acts in any movie over the last year under the lights of an eerie and itchy plot. I imagine the film will continue to sink into me throughout the day as I gasp and fascinate over every detail.
What a joy Robert Pattinson was too. To think a decade ago he was caught up in a major family-friendly franchise and now he is performing to a level as high as this, alongside legend Willem Dafoe, having the time of his life wanking over ornaments, getting covered in shit, talking proudly about jisum and beating the absolute crap out of seagulls.
