Colin McLaughlin’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’ll just admit I didn’t fully get it, and that’s on me. I think the *Important* parts translated okay but other parts had me too caught up trying to track the logic of the multiverse to actually absorb what was happening. Parts of this had me feeling like it was going for a nonexistent “most directing”
Oscar at the Academy Awards, and that made me think of the 525,600 universes where Will Smith just went to therapy at thirty so he wouldn’t be compelled to make an ass of himself on national tv. We’re all walking avatars of people who could be better, bay-bee! My grandma just died and no one in my family is handling it well at all so the mother daughter stuff got me all sorts of waterparky. I need to watch this 3 more times.
