One of the most intense examinations of greed and how it can corrupt a man's soul that I've ever seen. Also happens to be one of the greatest films of the century so far. Daniel Day Lewis gives one of the most mind-blowing and demanding acting performances ever put to screen.
Everything works here. Paul Thomas Anderson's direction, Robert Elswit's cinematography and Johnny Greenwood's incredible score come together to create a hypnotic and stunning work of art that will stay with you long after it's over. If you haven't already seen this masterpiece you need to get on it immediately. An astounding piece of cinema.
