Second watch, just as fantastic as the first. I think LGBTQ romance films end up being generally better than straight romance films. There are so few clichés of the genre to lazily play in to, and with LGBTQ romance not being as universally accepted, they tend to make more efforts in authenticity and subtlety.
Too bad Armie won’t be joining for the sequel. His crazy personal life aside, he and Chalamèt are perfect for each other in this.
