Watched with a friend this time. Real good shit although I'm still a bit iffy on it I would say. The editing is probably the worst part about Midsommar. There's definitely a bigger cut out there (the Director's Cut). Some scenes just end, and another starts and it ruins the flow of some certain scenes. Particularly one after Christian leaves a house. It felt very abrupt and caught me off-guard this time.
Another thing was that some characters were barely developed? Some characters just felt like they were there to be eventually killed off somewhere off-screen, which was super disappointing after the forbidden cliff scene which still got me.
Midsommar is a great "horror"? Even though I wouldn't really call it that. Midsommar is still *great. But Hereditary is still better ha I said it.
