As Steven Soderbergh said in the Q&A, Eddie Alcazar made a thing, and it is nuts. From a stop-motion fight scene, horny infomercials advertising immortality, woozy dream sequences, all the way to body horror, Divinity is so much movie packed in just under 90 minutes. It’s a horny nightmare about the commodification of all things living, and the meaning to life is just to live forever. Moisés Arias kills it as always.
