“I hope they remember you.” This will surely be one to remember, don’t worry Thanos. Easily one of the most hyped films of the decade, everything has led up to this film. 10 years, 18 films, and numerous characters have all built up to the final moments of this film, and this is truly one of the most memorable and breath-taking endings I’ve seen in my life. The entire theater was silent during the final ten minutes of the film, and continued to be silent once the credits started rolling. That was the impact of the ending. Of course, there was also another 140 minutes that preceded it. There are many characters in this film, and all of them serve a purpose, and that’s what is most admirable of what the Russo brothers have accomplished. The Winter Soldier and Civil War are two of the best Marvel films to date, and the Russo’s did a phenomenal job directing this film as well. There’s laughs, there’s intensity, there’s tragedy, and everything is written and directed so well. Thanos is one of the most compelling villains this universe has had, and every scene and line of dialogue spoken from him is something to take in and dissect. There are several key lines of dialogue and actions from a few characters that I believe will be crucial to the second chapter of this epic story, and that is what the fans will be able to have fun with. Also, if you’re a big Thor fan I’m sure you will enjoy the hell out of this film. The ending will shock many, and it is pretty ballsy what Kevin Feige ended up doing, so be prepared for the ending to amaze you. There isn’t much else to say about this movie except to get out and watch it as quickly as you can to avoid spoilers. Infinity War truly lives up to the hype.
