This movie is exactly what I wanted it to be. Ridiculous fun with dark humor. I wouldn't say this transcends the genre, but it definitely isn't as cliche as other slasher, satanic films.
Also, I remember seeing Samara Weaving in the season 1 finale of Ash Vs. Evil Dead and I'm glad that she's becoming a movie star and I'll get to see more of her.
