~~ saw the Hear My Eyes: Drive live score presentation at MIFF ~~
One of the films that made me want to write in the first place. Odd, considering it's not especially a dialogue-heavy one, but here we are. The live score was a treat, as was seeing it at the Regent Theatre - there's something about making a night of a film that makes it all the more special.
Still an all-time favourite. Violence, love, long stares and the nature of self, all wrapped up in a neon-soaked LA crime thriller. Everyone loves Drive, for sure, but sometimes everyone's right.
