Woulda cracked my top 10 of last year (I’ll count it as a 2021 movie for now..)
I’m pulling for Kirby to win the Oscar.
Should be nominated across the board for acting (Shia, Ellen, etc), directing, screenplay, picture.
Also.. in contention for one of the best title card openings.. ever?

This movie has somehow crept into my 2nd favorite Tarantino movie.. maybe it’ll be #1 someday.. endlessly rewatchable..

Beautiful Boy 2018
Currently in Austin in between a double feature (Beautiful Boy/mid90s).
I was a bit nervous for this one. Many people had told me they loved it and others said that it had major pacing issues.
