Cormac 👑’s review published on Letterboxd:
Don’t forget to look before you leap.
Under the span of a full 24 hour window, IL SORPASSO demonstrates the entire spectrum of the human experience as it rises and falls, soars and crashes before our very eyes.
All of life’s ups and downs compartmentalised and charted through two souls at an impasse. Polar opposites turn to kindred spirits and back again.
With every laugh hidden in guilt as all sorrow comes drowned and delayed in another desperate display of holding on to the ‘good life.’ But remember, always open your eyes when you do let go. It’s no longer only your own sad life that’s in your hands.
The ultimate tragicomedy? The ultimate tragicomedy. Cheers to Jack for this one who at this point seemingly knows my own taste better than I do.
