    Come and See

What really stood out to me was seeing Florya just so psychologically beaten down that by the end everything had just taken its toll on him to a point where he's broken and you can see how not only his mental state has been effected but he looks physically older.

Magnificent, just magnificent. Each love scene felt so tender and honest, I was moved to tears by the performances. Trudging towards the end of this film i knew what was coming, together on that island i didn't want their dream to end. The final act of the film really broke me down. Could this be allegory for our current situation? Doing the same thing day after day trying to fill the space without seeing a change, just going back and forth exhausting ourselves inside our own isolation perhaps losing our minds a little in the process. Glazer brilliantly uses the legend of the dancing plague as his catalyst to capture the unique situation many of us are experiencing ourselves currently. Or maybe i'm TOTALLY being an English teacher right now and reading far to much in to this shit. Just what i got out of it anyways. I dug the beat and I dug the dances.

It certainly challenges you and I don't think i'm honestly smart enough to get all of this on the first viewing. I can see many people not really liking or buying in to this and finding problems within it but if you like previous Nolan films you…

Still can't get over this is an actual movie that got made and that i can go revisit any time i want, I mean have you SEEN the stuff in this movie?? It's incredible. I can't believe it's 5 years old now, still feels so fresh. George Miller's genius mind really brought this whole wild world to life and i couldn't be more grateful.
