Luke Pauli’s review published on Letterboxd:
Sadly, Gingerdead Man 3: Saturday Night Cleaver doesn’t continue the momentum of the immensely fun second film. Starts off well with a pretty funny Silence of the Lambs parody sequence, with the titular villain locked up in an asylum with other deadly baked goods, before becoming a bizarre extended Carrie parody set in a 1970’s roller disco, with the Gingerdead Man on the periphery making wise cracks and doing the occasional murder. A real mish-mash of ideas; the parodic tone of Scary Movie with the bad taste of John Waters and the OTT splatter of Troma. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it, but I’d also be lying if I said it was any good. Ends with the eponymous villain facing down the Avengers of mass murderers in Jeffrey Dahmer, Charles Manson and Adolf Hitler.
