Deryk Rumbold’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is the furthest the idea "what if toys were alive" can probably go. What could of been a short 2 minute comedy about living toys was instead an expansive four movie franchise that has complex character developments and ends up in a place of existential introspection. At every twist and turn the Toy Story series was handled with such care, making it one amazing complete picture stuffed with lessons for the ages.
This series means a lot to me and it fills me with joy to see it treated the way it was.
