A very strong 7/10. Keanu Reeves gives a stellar performance, the emotive hook of the dead dog is captivating, and the action is phenomenally choreographed. But I'm so sorry, I just can't help but feel that by the final third of the film, it feels like the movie is rushing so fast trying to get itself over with.
Also, I can't get over some of this annoying dialogue. Like the freaking Boogieman poem? Really? Or "yah, I'm pretty sure I'm back!" This is what we call "melodrama".
Despite this, I can't help but enjoy this movie. It's world-building is just too fantastic, action too stellar, and vibe too strong to hate on.
