I’m not a person who usually writes a big review and I’m guessing most people won’t read this but fuck it.

I love this trilogy so much. Every film has its own place in my heart. Each character is perfectly casted, the story telling is incredible and the cinematography is still breathtaking to this day.

The Fellowship of the Ring is probably my favourite of the 3. We meet a group of small people who are just a tiny part…

    “Are you watching closely?”

The story is simple but brilliant. 2 magicians fighting over each other and competing to be the better performer. Through-out the film, they read each other’s work and find out little things about each other. Nolan does this perfectly because it constantly keeps you on your toes and leaves you with a sense of disbelief after watching because it’s just so mind-blowing.

Nolan’s camerawork in this is nothing special but the editing and the non-linear timeline…

I just love this movie. From the sets to the performances, everything is stunning and it might even have the best soundtrack I’ve ever heard. Just David Bowie all the way through.

The ending with Bill Murray is sat on that step and Queen Bitch kicks, it blows my mind every time. I just love it.

What to say about this. It’s batshit crazy. I had seen it when I was a kid and didn’t think much of it but this time I really liked it. It had some stunning shots and left me wanting more.

Just amazing. This is how you end a trilogy. It’s just a well rounded story. Some amazing action, brilliant characterisation and some stunning cgi.

So glad I rewatched this and already excited for the next rewatch.
