This is obviously a great movie, filled with incredible performances and a fantastic screenplay. But honestly. I'm not sure if it was a personal thing or I wasn't in the right headspace, but I just never rally connected with the movie. It felt like there was just a little something missing for me. And I'm not sure what. I feel like I'm obviously in the wrong here considering how critically acclaimed this movie is, but something didn't click. It doesn't help the fact that I thought the movie was ending and then it went on for like another 40 minutes. I'll clearly need to give this one a rewatch down the road. But for now, I feel a bit daft because I'm clearly missing something 😅.
