Shane Craig’s review published on Letterboxd:
For African-American children and adults, freedom is not yet a reality in the United States.
The ending when it goes back to the news report from the first scene (in 1965) always makes me cry. Just hits me so hard that literally everything the reporter is describing, LA saw an exact repeat of 27 years later. Because nothing has changed. There is no right side of history.
The best documentary I’ve ever seen hands down.
