Carl Gerber’s review published on Letterboxd:
I appreciate the look and tone that the filmmaker was going for, it’s beautifully shot and the production design is amazing but the storytelling is all exposition with an unsatisfying payoff. Only two memorably disturbing scenes and even those weren’t all that great. This movie also did not need to be 153 minutes. The pacing was torturous, would have benefited greatly from a tighter script.
