One of those dreary affairs where the viewer either roots for the least rotten human being onscreen or for no one at all, turning it into an exercise in pointless negativity. The story is also amazingly manipulative: the "heroine" - a robber - needs money in order to get away from her shitty white-trash life; the "villain" is a raging, cruel atheist.
It's by far the most skillfully made thriller of the year - and also the only one that is morally revolting.
