Just like "Get Out", Peele's new film offers another poignant social commentary, nicely wrapped in a horror film idea. It's scary, creepy and effective; it's beautiful, ambitious and unique. Narratively, it's flawed but entertaining; however, thematically, it does everything right, offering a look at 2019 America through the eyes of an emerging horror filmmaker that apparently found a way to make horror smart again. I've been thinking about it ever since I left the theater - something that few films make me do.
