Cole Crump’s review published on Letterboxd:
Yeah. it's entertaining, but that is just about as deep as heist films go, I've noticed. It is fun, the stakes are somewhat high, and danger is looming around every corner, but there is no message to take away from the film. Spike Lee seems to want you to know to not do business with Nazis and don't be a racist cop. I wanted more out of Lee. I wanted a great story that means something, that amounts to something. It just left me dully satisfied, and I don't find that good enough.
