If you wonder what white privilege is. It's watching this documetary while cracking a few beers and having your mind blow about how deeply rooted the corruption in our justice system is.
My god is this film incredible, mind-boggling, and eye-opening. All in the best ways possible. Black lives mattering is the minimum. They are beautiful, dignified, worthy, beloved, and very very needed.

Beasts of No Nation 2015
“The only way not to be fighting anymore is to be dying.”
“Bullet is just eating everything.”
This is every day for the countries in turmoil that we never hear about. This is a world across the sea that seems too dark to be real. Darkness, death, & evil are winning. Kids become soldiers. Families are murdered in front of each other. No one is trustworthy. Evil men take charge and in the name of god use young captured men for…

Black Mirror: White Bear 2013
One of the most damning insights into our culture. Wow. This is insanely sad, horrifying, and condemning of us as people. The most heavy-handed Black Mirror has been with its viewers on humanity up to this point. Written, shot, and released all just a year after the murder of Usama bin Ladin. His death led to a large portion of our world celebrating his murder. This is quite bold of Black Mirror and most definitely convicting. Also looking through other…

The Incredible Hulk 2008
I was shocked to find out how bad this film actually is. It baffles me that such a huge company like Marvel, or Disney, or whoever is behind these enormous pile of garbage, can produce this level of cinema. The acting in this is awful, which is surprising given that I love Norton in Birdman. The general grates on my last nerve with his delivery and dialogue. To whoever wrote this: there is only up from this point. The screenwriting…

Fargo 1996
Not seen a whole lot of Coen brothers films. Only 'A Serious Man' and 'True Grit' but man I'm glad I opted to watch a Coen today! I would throw in some witty one-liner and end it with a saying they use in the Dakotas but within a glimpse of the reviews here we have enough of those so I'll pass. For the middle of nowhere, this is pretty great, I tend to find myself wanting out of small towns…

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy 2004
Dang, it is weird watching this in 2018 when so much has changed around the topics and subjects of what is joked about in Anchorman. I guess the nice spin you could give to Anchorman would be it makes misogynists look really stupid, and that is fun. Saying it empowers women might be giving it too much credit though. Tensions aside, Anchorman is most definitely one of the modern classics since the break of the new millennium. Ferrell is one…

Marlon Wayans: Woke-ish 2018
He has charisma, presence, and is fun. He is definitely more energetic about the performance, which is nice to see. He's a funny guy, just not all of his stuff lands right and he seems to like it more than the audience does. I'd watch more of his stuff though, should it come out.
