Tooley I Am King’s review published on Letterboxd:
First off, Margot Robbie absolutely kills it here. She's such a versatile actress, and gives a much-needed emotional depth to Tonya Harding's character that is necessary to make this film work. If nothing else, see this film for her.
Aside from Robbie, the rest of the cast is stellar (I've always been a big Sebastian Stan fan, so it was great to see him in a good role like this). They all have excellent comedic and dramatic timing, which keeps the pacing of the film together.
I really loved how this film showed the horrors of abuse, whether it be from a single person or a whole country. This message is delivered perfectly in the film, as we see how the constant beatings and emotional torment of Harding drive her and limit her. I didn't anticipate this film to have the emotion impact it did, and because of that I was really blown away. One of the year's bests right here.
