SPRING CRITERION MARATHON #88
I wasn't expecting to love this movie with all my heart. Wes Anderson finally made me tear up. Father emotions.
It breaks my heart that this film wasn't as well received when it first came out in 2004. This is one of Wes Anderson's best films and I love it to the Moon and back.
Choosing Bill Murray to lead the film was the best decision he's made casting wise in a long time. I fucking love almost everything about this movie. The camera angles, the characters, the set design, the way that it's narrated, the fact that it's a movie about making movies, pretty much everything about it was amazing and I can't fucking wait to see it again.
