My blu-ray finally came in. Thank Neptune, I finally get SUBTITLES!
This is the fourth time I've seen it since the FIN screening in September when I met Robert Eggers and Willem Dafoe.
This feels like a artsy, drunken sailor version of Persona, except I genuinely love this even more. It's not surprising that Eggers told me Bergman was his favorite director in the Q+A.
My top 3 of 2019 are tied for completely different reasons. Take em' as you will.
