No horror film compares to this.
This is a slasher film by definition as well which usually leads to trash. I'll write a real review for this when I'm not drunk. I just know how much I love it from top to bottom. I love how much it reflects the decade it was made in, the entire Ed Gein case and the neglect that rural America not only felt at the time, but continues to feel now. The foundation has only continued to rot and yet they continue to wave the "We're #1" foam finger around, eh?
Strange film to its core, even today. Wouldn't change a frame.
