Curtis Loves Movies’s review published on Letterboxd:
Despite a rather unlikeable main character and a meandering first act, I ended up finding a lot about this movie that I liked. In many ways, Llewyn Davis is both protagonist and his own antagonist. But there are these... moments in the story, not even scenes, just moments, perhaps potential turning points for Davis, where he glimpses the opportunity to change the direction of his life... and he doesn't take it. The Coens let these moments breathe just long enough but not too long, like the way your eyes linger on a loved one as you say goodbye. Fare thee well, indeed.
