    The fact that everything is setup and known to the audience within the first 30min, but not the characters, and so we still feel compelled to helplessly watch the slow descent into meticulously planned madness, speaks to the brilliance of the film.

    People underestimated that this WHOLE film was done in special effect animation optically... an extremely precise and grueling work process with inversion photography, hand colorization with clear ink, precise mattes and hand blacking and masking, messing around with colored and rainbow gels on specialized rigs, precise backing up of film stock, changes in focus and aperture, changes in camera position/height/axis, multiple exposures, and double (triple, quadruple and more in places) optical passes all over the film.

    Great driving stunts, very stylish film, actual ending.
    (I wonder what they would do on the rumored sequel).

    The only problem I have with it is that, it sort of didn't punch as hard as some of Edgar Wright, stylistically.
