What an incredible gem. Full of humor, full of sadness and full of good quotes. These are the films that make someone's love for Marty ever greater. Everything's just right. It's one of De Niro's best acting performances in my opinion. You should just watch this picture as soon as you can if you haven't already.

Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime. Thank you. Thank you.

This was so good and so powerful. The psychological aspect carries you through the whole film. Mysophobia and the life of a hermit go deep in your veins. Some of the pieces may have been a bit too long, so your attention may not always stay focused, but you can still conclude that every piece in this film has an enormous value. Everything in terms of colour, editing, camera movements, typical stylistic Scorsese elements and music are just perfectly put together. It may seem like one big chaos, but at the end all the pieces fall together.

    The way of the future.

Beautiful decors and a very well developed storyline with the right amount of tension and rhythm. The actors aren't all introduced very well so the connection you generate with them isn't that big, but I'm shocked that I liked this picture so much because I had some preconceptions ready before I had watched 1 minute. I am curious about the sequel.

This was a really good horror picture. The story itself is just wonderful and how they portrayed it is extraordinary. What makes this picture so good is that you're really in it yourself. I mean, you're really connected down to the smallest detail. When Peter comes into the house with his father and wonders "what's that smell?", you just smell it yourself. Same thing happens when Annie goes up in the attic and has to gag. Some scenes really turned…
